In recent days Joe has started seeing things and even noticing me. It is the coolest experience/feeling in the world when he smiles. This is him asleep even though we are watching a very entertaining Clash of the Titans. I finally understand fatherhood in the way so many men have spoken of it.

So I’ve been running half heartedly all summer. Now I’m using the Nike training coach and going to try and step it up a notch and knock out this 30 pounds I’ve gained the last two years. Wish me luck!

So a couple weeks in I was doing really well on the running but my left leg was starting to hurt. I think my weight is too much for the 4 milers I was running. Looks like I gotta get the weight down to keep the running up higher!
